Day 167 of 365 Days of Silver ~~ Thankful for a Very Productive Day

The sun is shining, a new day is upon us. May your day be blessed with love and peace. If you have those things, nothing else really matters.
~~ Nishan Panwar

Today was a good day. I got a lot done. Got up early and started to write and to my shock, the big scene that has eluded me for weeks decided it wanted to be written!

I then took a break and went to the Slim4Life Center and weighed in…and then weighed in at Weight Watchers which was a block away. That let me discover when their meetings are—there was one coincidentally starting just as I got there. Sarah Jane was in the car and I couldn’t stay, but now I have a meeting to go to. I am addicted to food—actually went to Overeaters Anonymous years ago and maybe I need to start again. Meeting help me. I need to talk. I need to listen. I need accountability. I need structure (in some things).

Then I came home and wrote some more! Took a break and watched a movie that was okay—a little dull sadly—but okay. It was called The Butler and stared Forest Whitaker as Cecil Gaines, a man who served eight presidents during his tenure as a butler at the White House.

Then back to writing and wow…more and more progress. This section of the book that seemed like a mountain that needed climbing and I was deeply afraid of really does want to be written. I’ve teared up at several places. My Muse is back. The tenth Muse. He’s the little known little gay brother to the nine famous Muses. He’s pretty cool. I imagine him looking pretty hot too.

He needs a name….

In the midst of that I got wonderful news from a friend. Her cat Artimis had to go to the vet for surgery to get this growth off her lip and a few other things as well. My friend was worried about the anesthesia. This isn’t a kitten, but an older lady cat. She pulled through wonderfully, got to come home the same day, and ate a little dinner! Hurray!

I love animals.

And now I am back to writing. And I still have a day off!

Today was a good day—and I am so grateful!

Namasté,
B.G. Thomas
