Day 160 of 365 Days of Silver ~~ Grateful for Weight Loss

“The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.”
~~ William James

It’s not much yet and it’s going to take some time, but I am on the right path at last. Depression makes me eat. And eat and eat and eat and eat…. But now I am on the good-food path again. Whew! At least it too six or eight months to get back on the healthy way instead of two or three years.

All that weight loss, only to let it sneak back on. How foolish. I’ve been on the damned Yoyo Diet for too many years! No more! I have to love myself!

I’m not looking to be a Skinny-Minnie. At this age I’ll be happy with Medium-Minnie. For goodness sake one of the reasons I’ve been out of breath so much lately is that I am carrying all this extra weight around. It’s made my legs hurt and my feet hurt and I just don’t want to go back to that. I liked being a healthy weight.

So it’s about ten pounds in less than two weeks and it’s going to slow down but it would be nice to get another ten pounds off my Midwest Men’s Festival, which is the last two weeks of July.

And I can do it….

I’ve take another step to feeling good about myself again!

Namasté,
B.G. Thomas
