“Some people think luxury is the opposite of poverty. It is not. It is the opposite of vulgarity.”
~~ Coco Chanel
What a day what a day what a day….
Yesterday was wondrous.
It was relaxing.
We swam. We hot tubed. We had lunch poolside and how nice to do so with fellow writers! It was me and my dear friend EM Lynley (yup! another dear friend), Eden Winters, PD Singer and Angel Martinez.
Then we actually went to our rooms and worked and then I took a nap and then…and then…!
Next we all gathered and got our registration material for tomorrow and I saw so many friends and people with Dreamspinner Press.
I met my editor! OMG! I met my editor! I am tearing up in enormous gratitude as I type this!
Her name is Andi Byassee. She was everything and more that I hoped she would be. We were already close and now I feel so much closer to her. And lovely! So pretty! And I met her husband and he was wonderful!
And then more luxury! We had wine and then went to a pretty amazing dinner. More wine—a Kebdall-Jackson chardonnay! And I had something called the Seafood Cioppino which consisted of a half lobster tail, scallops, shrimp, fresh fish, chef potatoes in a spiced tomato seafood broth. Not a cheap meal but I know we must occasionally allow ourselves luxury. Once in a while treat ourselves. We are worth it. And don’t once worry about the cost in money or time! Not once!
And a vibration will go out to the Universe that says we are worth it and attract more luxury to our lives! Luxury we deserve!
