Day 30 of 365 Days of Silver ~~ My Husband Comes to the Rescue—Again!

“In terms of my marriage, you know, falling in love with my husband was by far the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
~~ Caroline Kennedy

So I am grateful for several things…chief among them that my husband has come to the rescue again! I do not know what I would do without him!

A couple nights ago I am sitting—after working on editing and writing and napping all day—and watching a movie from Netflix Streaming on my laptop.

Suddenly my computer logs off the Internet and a few minutes later the movie stops.

I have no Internet connection. I try and try and try and nadda, nothing. Rebooting, nothing works!

I get to work and send a message to my dear friend Elin Gregory (another of my many blessings) and ask her to publish my post that I had written for the day. She gladly did so even though she was very busy at work. She is a true friend.

Meanwhile I am trying very hard not to freak out. I have to have access to the Internet. And didn’t I just a few days ago say right here in this blog how grateful I am to have Internet Access?

How would I get emails from my publisher? How would I get other information I need. How would I keep my promise to post every single day in my blog, 365 Days of Silver?

Husband to the rescue. He kept my calm and when we got home attached something called a Doggle (????) to the laptop and presto change-oh! Internet access!

It is a temporary fix. He thinks it has something to do with some kind of “card.”

So how grateful I am for….

1) Reconnection to the Internet
2) A husband that understands all the techno-mumbo-jumbo
3) My husband!
4) My dear friend Elin

Could I be more blessed?

Life is good!
